my first attempt at tom yum kung ended in failure. i should have known better than to experiment when guests were over for dinner. the hot and sour soup had a bitter aftertaste. i'm not adverse to trying again, but i wish i knew what ingredient contributed to the bitterness. maybe i need to find actual kaffir lime leaves rather than use the lime zest.
however, i did make the best potstickers in my history of potsticker making. rolled the wrapping out on the pasta machine. i love that thing. best investment i ever made...
